My mother told me once, that a bible has a story.
It watches the crying, the hurt, and dieing
and then it records what it finds in its heart.
The heart is the pages,
when you read them it tells it's story.
So maybe I, maybe me,
maybe if I read it's story
then it will read mine.
Very interesting.. I love the thing you've added a grain to this photo, this makes it unusual. And the girl is very beautiful.
Also I like the simpisity of this work. Keep on.
I really like this piece a lot. The graininess of it, the high contrast of lights and dark as well as the contrast between the desaturated background and the colored subject. The composition bothers me a bit.... whenever you have a figure looking to one direction, it's usually a good idea to leave more headroom towards the direction they're looking. Perhaps if you panned around a bit and had the empty pews in front of her (with her positioned to the right of the piece), or if you had her in more of a straignt on point of view rather than the 3/4 view, then the pews could still be to the right of her if framed properly.
Overall, this is a moving piece and I hope that you take this criticism constructively. Your model is beautiful and I like the fact that her clothing is such that it could be placed in just about any time period. Thank you for sharing your words and your vision
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Of a downbeat generation
So much for liberation
It looks like rain to me"
